Cream of broccoli soup[edit]

Cream of broccoli soup

  • New enough. Long enough. QPQ done. Image license suitable for front page. NPOV. Dup detector spot checking found no close paraphrasing issues, copyright violations or plagiarism. All paras and hook cited. I've tweaked the hook, replacing "image" with "version". You could use "recipe" if you prefer. Edwardx (talk) 00:14, 11 September 2014 (UTC)
  • I don't think the image is appropriate for the hook. Yoninah (talk) 12:50, 11 September 2014 (UTC)
  • Sure it is; it's an image of cream of broccoli soup, the premise of the hook. NorthAmerica1000 13:43, 11 September 2014 (UTC)
  • I'm comparing it with Template:Did you know nominations#Seafood pizza, in which seafood pizza is generic. It was even kind of funny that you depicted a different seafood pizza when describing the costliest version in your hook, as if readers are eagerly looking to the picture to see this high-priced marvel (I was!). But this hook is specific: Campbell's cream of broccoli soup. It doesn't make sense to put in a non-Campbell's product, especially a homemade soup made by someone in Australia. Yoninah (talk) 15:09, 11 September 2014 (UTC)
  • It would be a copyright infringement to use an image of the Campbell's Soup Company product in the can except for within the Campbell's Soup Company article. An image of the Campbell's Soup Company soup in a bowl would be all right, but didn't find anything on Commons (Commons is lacking in images of cream of broccoli soup in general, too). So, it's either use the image, a similar one, or don't use this type of image. Below is an ALT, the same as the original hook, but sans the image and the text "(different version pictured)".
