Gertrud Arndt[edit]

  • ... that the pioneering series of self-portraits by Bauhaus artist Gertrud Arndt have been described as "ranging from severe to absurd to playful"?
  • Comment: had to nominate her, with a name so close to mine - women in history month, please

  • Hook - within length criteria at 143 characters; correctly formatted; correctly cited/supported by ref #4 in 'Photography' section; and topical for women in history month.
