Article is new enough and long enough. I see no evidence of plagiarism (I might have missed something since most of the sources are in German, but I don't think so). The article and hook meet NPOV; the hook fact is interesting and appropriately cited. QPQ checks out. The only concern I have is that the article could use a couple more refs; in particular, the paragraph about his domestic racing career has a long stretch with plenty of info and no ref. Even there, though, the bare minimum required by DYK (one citation per paragraph) is met. Sideways713 (talk) 13:51, 17 November 2014 (UTC)
