Public executions in Iran[edit]

  • ... that as of 2013, Iran is one of only four countries known to carry out public executions?

Created by Plot Spoiler (talk). Nominated by Gilliam (talk) at 12:08, 10 April 2014 (UTC).

  • The article is near perfect. The only thing missing is QPQ. And I'm not sure you should do it: the creator of the nominator? Perhaps, the latter. --Երևանցի talk 02:31, 12 April 2014 (UTC)
  • QPQ is not required for a non-self nomination. -Zanhe (talk) 05:45, 12 April 2014 (UTC)
  • I haven't heard of that rule before, but I'll take your word. The article is long enough (over 4,200 characters) and is new enough (cr Apr 6, nom Apr 10) and well sourced. The hook is sourced too. --Երևանցի talk 05:52, 12 April 2014 (UTC)
@Yerevantsi: In case you're curious, WP:DYK: "New nominators (those with fewer than five DYK credits) are exempt from this review requirement, as is the nomination of another editor's article, although they are strongly encouraged to do so." czar  18:10, 12 April 2014 (UTC)
Thanks, Czar. Hence, I strongly encourage @Gilliam: to review another article, although he/she is not required to do so. --Երևանցի talk 18:16, 12 April 2014 (UTC)
