Article was promoted to Good status within 5 days of nomination. Hook is properly formatted and supported with an inline citation. The hook doesn't really grab me though; music critics like songs all the time. The information about her live performance I do find interesting, and is also cited. Can I propose an alternate?ALT1 ... that Janet Jackson's 2004 live performance of "R&B Junkie" was the first time a live TV show wasn't on a tape delay since Jackson's Super Bowl XXXVIII halftime show controversy?PaintedCarpet (talk) 16:00, 12 June 2014 (UTC)

- ALT1 is not supported by a source. The lead of the article says it was "the first time a live program on TV was not aired with a time delay, following her Super Bowl XXXVIII halftime show controversy", but that has no reference. Later in the article, it says "the BET Awards was the first televised broadcast to air Jackson's performance without any customary delay since the incident occurred." That is saying something completely different, and the reference provided does not support it (or the statement in the lead) at all. The source says that other shows have a delay and the BET Awards won't. It does not say that it's the first live show without a delay since the Super Bowl, or even that it was the first one for Jackson. I've tagged the article in both places. - I've struck ALT1, as it is false. See the footnote on this page, which says, "Two months after the Super Bowl incident, Jackson hosted Saturday Night Live without tape-delay, or incident, on April 10, 2004." The awards show was in June 2004. MANdARAX • XAЯAbИAM 23:57, 13 June 2014 (UTC)
