Error: must specify an image in the first line
[edit] Purpose
To provide an image map that links to all elements and other selected pages from within the navigational pane of chemical element infoboxes.
[edit] Usage
- Parameters
Use in Template:Elementbox but can be used alone. Parameters for symbol, name and crystal structure must be specified in corresponding chemical element infobox or passed directly (see example below).
- Image cannot be specified unless a symbol parameter is passed. Valid values are at list of elements by symbol.
- Template will not work if name is not given. Valid values are at list of elements by name.
- Template will also not work if a crystal structure is not given. Valid values are at Unit_cell#Crystal_system.*
* If crystal structure is not known, then unknown must be passed as the parameter value for crystal structure.
- Images
- Unfortunately, the MediaWiki ImageMap Extension does not work with scalable vector graphics (svg) images.
- File names must be in the form of M-TableImage.png (where M is the element symbol).
- The only image size this template works with are the 800 pixel wide and 270 pixel tall images created by WikiProject Elements.
