This template can be used to create an infobox for articles about caves.

Parameters

Parameter	Description
name	Name of the cave. (Required)
alt_name	Other name for the cave if relatively well known.
photo	Photo of the cave.
photo_width	Width in pixels for the photo. The default is 256.
caption	Caption for the photo.
location	Enter country, state/province, county/district, city/town if applicable.
coordinates	geographic coordinates
coordinates ref</ref>	reference for geographic coordinates
depth	Enter the deepest portion of the cave.
length	Enter the entire surveyed length.
altitude	altitude
survey	What manner of survey? What instruments were used? When was it surveyed?
survey electronic format	Which cave software is it in?
discovery	When was it discovered and by who?
geology	What geological strata is the cave in?
number of entrances	How many entrances does the cave have?
list of entrances	Names of the entrances.
difficulty	Skill level required to visit the cave.
hazards	List the hazards associated with the cave.
access	Is access private/public, etc?
