To use this template, simply copy and paste the following text into the article and fill in any of the parameters. Only "name" is required.

Parameters
An explanation of what each parameter is. For more information, ask on the talk page.
- name = the name of the denomination
- caption_background = if on, the title will appear with a purple background. Default is on.
- image = any image associated with the denomination (logo)
- imagewidth = width of image, default "200px." Recommend under 200px. Used when available image is low-resolution.
- imagealttext = alternative text to be displayed describing image.
- caption = a caption for the image
- main_classification = (Roman-Catholic, Protestant, Eastern-Orthodox, etc.)
- orientation = (main theology, i.e. Calvinism, Arminianism, Baptist, etc.)
- theology = (main theology, i.e. Calvinism, Arminianism, Baptist, etc.)
- polity = the appropriate ecclesiastical polity
- governance = the appropriate ecclesiastical polity
- structure = organizational structure for groups that do not employ a standard ecclesiastical polity
- leader/moderator = the religious leader or moderator of the denomination
- leader = the religious leader of the denomination
- director = if the denomination's organization is controlled by a director
- fellowships = names of distinct fellowships within the denomination
- associations = names of inter-denominational associations the church is part of; eg. International Conference of Reformed Churches
- area = geographical area, eg. North America and Japan
- headquarters = Headquarters or main denominational office
- founder = the original founder
- founded_date = date of founding
- founded_place = location of founding
- separated_from = separation from (denomination)
- parent = if the denomination branched off of a parent denomination
- merger = if the denomination was the result of a merge
- separations = names of denominations that have split off from this denomination
- hospitals = number of church-operated hospitals
- nursing_homes = number of church-operated nursing homes
- aid = name of humanitarian aid organization run by the church, like Adventist Development and Relief Agency
- congregations = number of congregations
- members = number of members
- ministers = number of ministers/priests/pastors/...
- missionaries = number of missionaries
- temples = number of temples
- primary_schools = number of church-operated primary schools
- secondary_schools = number of church-operated secondary/high schools
- tax_status = tax classification (e.g., Internal Revenue Service 501c3 or equivalent) of the main body
- tertiary = number of church-operated tertiary level colleges or universities
- other_names = alternative name or names by which the denomination is/was known
- website = official website
- footnotes = any footnotes
