Usage

This template will add the articles transcluding it to the hidden category Category:Wikipedia articles incorporating text from the Jargon File.

This template should be placed on the main page of the article.

The Jargon file recommends use of a version number when excerpting; this may be accomplished using a parameter, like so:

{{JargonFile|1.4.0}}

Produces:

This article is based in part on the Jargon File, version 1.4.0, which is in the public domain.

The current version number is viewable at [1].
