This template provides an external link to PubMed abstracts of biomedical journals.

Usage

To use this template one must give the PMID Abstract number:

Hence: {{PMID|12345}}
Shows: PubMed

To search for an article, go to http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?db=PubMed

To generate full Template:Cite journal markup from a known PubMed Abstract number, use Diberri's Wikipedia template filling tool which, for the example above, may yield something like :

Rubinstein MH (1976). "A new granulation method for compressed tablets [proceedings].". J. Pharm. Pharmacol. 28 Suppl: 67P. PMID 12345. 

Or use the Cite pmid form {{Cite pmid|12345}} which will generate the cite journal for you.
