This template allows for the quick creation of a navigational template for any group of articles which contains the names of the China Province-level divisions. It uses {{Navbox}} to create the navigation box.

Parameters

Mandatory

name
Mandatory when creating a new template.

One of the following combinations is needed to create the links:

prefix
Text to be placed before the China province-level division name.
suffix
Places text after the China province-level division name.
prefix and suffix
Places text before and after the China province-level division name.

Optional

state
How to manage this template's visibility
  • Use {{Province-level divisions of China |state=collapsed}} to show this template in its collapsed (i.e. hidden) state.
Use {{Province-level divisions of China |state=expanded}} to show this template in its expanded (i.e. fully visible) state.
Use {{Province-level divisions of China |state=autocollapse}} to show this template in its collapsed state only if there is another template of the same type on the page.
  • Unless set otherwise (see the state parameter within the template's code), the template's default state is "autocollapse".
title
Text that appears centered in the titlebar (the top bar). This is optional because the use of either prefix, suffix or both will automatically generate a title if the title parameter is not supplied. This parameter is not automatically wiki-linked.

Examples

Changing the navbox title

{{Province-level divisions of China
| title = [[History of China]] by political division
