This template originates from discussions between Wikipedia:WikiProject Disambiguation and Wikipedia:WikiProject Anthroponymy regarding whether and when to split one-name content (lists of people sharing surname or given name) from disambiguation pages or not. Apply as a transcluded hatnote.
Use of the template places the article into Category:Disambiguation pages in need of being split, which is a child of Category:Disambiguation pages in need of cleanup.
