This template is to be used within WikiProject talk page banners in order to easily place articles into categories based on project/task force name, article rating, and article importance. It is designed to be used multiple times within a single banner to avoid duplication of categorization code.

There are three parameters that can be set:

  • class = The assessed class of the article. This should normally equal {{{class|}}}, or whatever parameter is given to the WikiProject banner.
  • importance = The assessed importance of the article. This should normally equal {{{importance|}}}, or whatever parameter is given to the WikiProject banner. If task forces uses a different importance variable than the parent WikiProject, then this parameter should be set to the importance parameter for the desired task force.
  • name = The name of the category to use after the class or importance.

These parameters construct categories in the following formats:

  • class-Class name articles
  • importance-importance name articles

Recognized classes include FA, FL, A, GA, B, C, Start, Stub, List, Template, Disambig, NA, and Category. If no class is given, the default category is Unassessed-Class. Recognized importances include Top, High, Mid, Low, and NA. If no importance is given, the default category is Unknown-importance. Category-Class articles are automatically placed in the NA-importance category.

Usage

{{Task force categories|name=ProjectName|class={{{class|}}}|importance={{{importance|}}}}}
