This template is the project banner for WikiProject Brazil, and is added to the talk pages of articles within the Project's scope.

General parameters:
  • class=XXX – a rating of the article's quality; see below for more details.
  • importance=YYY – a rating of the article's importance; see below for more details.

  • attention=yes - if the article requires immediate attention; this should be used sparingly.
  • needs-infobox=yes - if the article lacks an infobox, otherwise remove this line.
  • needs-map=yes - if the article lacks a map, otherwise remove this line.
  • needs-photo=yes - if the article lacks a photo, otherwise remove this line.
  • merge=yes - if the article needs to be merged, otherwise remove this line.
  • peer-review=yes - if the article is currently listed on the project's peer review department.
  • old-peer-review=yes - if the article was previously listed on the project's peer review department.
  • auto=yes – This parameter is for the use of bots.
  • small=yes - enables the template to generate a smaller, right-aligned message box.

Usage

An article's quality assessment is generated from the class parameter in the {{WikiProject Brazil}} project banner on its talk page:

The importance parameter should be assigned according to the importance scale below.

Quality scale

The table below gives a brief description of possible quality scale values. Before assigning any article to a class, please take a few moments and read the full description of the Version 1.0 Editorial Team Assessment system.

Each article may also be assigned to a particular class, intended as a point-in-time assessment of its overall "quality", relative to the criteria given in the quality scale detailed below. Articles for which a valid class has not yet been provided are listed by default in: Category:Unassessed Brazil articles.

Importance scale

Each article may also be assigned a particular importance; for Brazil related articles, we make a very simple use of this. Articles for which a valid importance has not yet been provided are listed by default in: Category:Unknown-importance Brazil articles.
