This WikiProject banner uses {{WPBannerMeta}}, a meta-template for easily creating and maintaining banners and talk-page notices. Any recently appearing error or display issue which is not obviously caused by a recent edit to this template is probably due to an error in, or recent update to, Template:WPBannerMeta or one of its subpages. Template documentationUsage
The {{WikiProject Buddhism}} project banner template should be added (not subst:ed) to the talk page of every article within the scope of the project. While the template does not require any additional parameters, it has a number of optional ones that add various extra features to the banner. The full syntax is as follows:

General parameters:
- class – a rating of the article's quality; see the assessment department for more details.
- importance – a rating of the article's importance; see the assessment department for more details.
- portal – if the article is used in the featured article queue of the Buddhism Portal, the subpage number of its entry.
- attention – "yes" if the article requires immediate attention; this should be used sparingly.
- needs-infobox: Answer yes if the article lacks an infobox, otherwise remove this line.
- small – "yes" enables the template to generate a smaller, right-aligned message box.
- auto: This parameter is for the use of bots.
To avoid needlessly cluttering up talk pages, it is usually appropriate to remove any unused parameters from the template.
