Usage

Project banner[edit]

The {{WikiProject Rugby union}} project banner template should be added (not subst:ed) to the talk page of every article within the scope of the project. While the template does not require any additional parameters, it has a number of optional ones that add various extra features to the banner. The full syntax is as follows:

{{WikiProject Rugby union
|class=
|importance=
|portal=
|Fiji=
|attention=
|needs-infobox=
|needs-photo=
|collaboration-candidate=
|past-collaboration=
|peer-review=
|old-peer-review=
}}

General parameters:

  • class – a rating of the article's quality; see the assessment department for more details.
  • importance – a rating of the article's importance; see the assessment department for more details.
  • portal – if the article is used in the featured article queue of the Rugby union Portal, the subpage number of its entry.
  • Fiji Answer yes if the article is in the scope of the Fijian rugby task force, otherwise remove this line.
  • attention – "yes" if the article requires immediate attention; this should be used sparingly.
  • needs-infobox -- 'yes' if the article requires an infobox
  • needs-photo -yes if the article requires a photo
  • collaboration-candidate – "yes" if the article is currently a candidate for the project's Collaboration of the Fortnight.
  • past-collaboration – if the article was previously a Collaboration of the Fortnight, the dash-separated dates of the collaboration period; must be left blank otherwise.
  • peer-review – "yes" if the article is currently listed on the project's peer review department.
  • old-peer-review – "yes" if the article was previously listed on the project's peer review department.

A simplified version with the main parameters included is below to ease copy and paste actions.

|importance=
|needs-infobox=
|needs-photo=
}}

Wikiproject specific parameters

To avoid needlessly cluttering up talk pages, it is usually appropriate to remove any unused parameters from the template.
