[edit] Map error between Lawrence Hill and Temple Meads?

The current diagram shows 2 _current_ direct routes between Lawrence Hill and Temple Meads stations (one via the old Temple Meads goods depot, the other via the triangle with the line to Bath). From maps and other descriptions I have read there is (and ever was?) only one route from south of Lawrence Hill station to Temple Meads (the one via the triangle). The old Midland line route and link is correctly shown coming from north of Lawrence Hill station and going to Temple Meads. I think the diagram needs to at least have the route through Temple Meads goods depot shown as 'ex', perhaps modified as did this route exist as shown? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2ghoti (talkcontribs) 10:36, 22 July 2011 (UTC)

I accept no trains pass through there, but I think it is possible - it's more that the depot has paths at both ends. -mattbuck (Talk) 11:24, 22 July 2011 (UTC)
From satellite images of Barton Hill TMD it seems the TMD is located on one arm of the triangle only, the line diagram shows both the triangle and a separate diverting line avoiding the triangle - this does not appear to be the actual layout here. The TMD looks like it does have connections at both ends - but does this consitite a 'path' on these diagrams? Best way would be to change the triangle symbol to a single junction - however the multitude of different symbols and text based editing lead me to leave it to an expert for now. (Is there a help page or editor for these diagrams?) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2ghoti (talkcontribs) 13:26, 25 July 2011 (UTC)
I've done what you suggested. Is this better? -mattbuck (Talk) 16:09, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

[edit] Westerleigh Goods depot

Surely this was located where the Murco depot is now, just before Yate, not between Filton Junction and Filton North. Jezhotwells (talk) 00:36, 5 August 2011 (UTC)
