Battle of Rovine is part of the Wallachian-Ottoman wars, not of Hungarian-Ottoman wars. greier 10:36, 11 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Long campaign[edit]

The following battles are part of Long campaign: 1)Iron Gate, 2) Zlatitsa, 3) Niš and 4)Varna. That means that Long campaign does not belong to this list. I proposed merging of the Long campaign and Crusade of Varna and expect that it will be merged. Therefore I will delete Long campaign from this list. --Antidiskriminator (talk) 10:55, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Deleting everything after 1526[edit]

All battles after 1526 should be deleted because they are all Ottoman Habsburg wars. Kingdom of Hungary was destroyed in 1526 and this template is about Hungarian-Ottaman wars.DragonTiger23 (talk) 20:38, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You are right about removing them on the basis that the Habsburgs were crowned the "King of Hungary" at the time. In fact Hungary wasn't destroyed but to be appropriate : the remnants of the Kingdom of Hungary existed onwards on the current-day Slovakia territory and was administered as a standalone identity.
