This template collects the major articles on English-language literature. For brevity and clarity, underdeveloped articles, articles on literature partially written in English, and articles on minor English literatures have been initially omitted (i.e. Vanuatuan literature, Kenyan literature, Shetland literature). Post-Victorian literary eras (i.e. modernist literature) have been omitted as they are not distinguished by language of origin. Skomorokh 15:16, 15 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
