The Template:Frs user was created by User:Harej, on 6 January 2011, to format wikilinks for a username, as used in page WP:Feedback_request_service to list usernames. -Wikid77 (talk) 16:23, 31 May 2013 (UTC)
Rewrote as 12x times faster[edit]
I have rewritten the template, using streamlined logic, to run 12x faster as using less CPU time to format the username links. There had been concerns that the page WP:FRS was reformatting very slowly, even sometimes so slow as to hit wp:Wikimedia Foundation error on a 60-second timeout. The streamlined version of the template can now format 200 username links within 0.4 seconds, rather than 5 seconds, as running about 12x times faster than during the prior 2 years. -Wikid77 (talk) 16:23, 31 May 2013 (UTC)
