Article favors the Xbox 360 version more[edit]

In my opinion, this article needs to be edited a little bit, because it seems to favor the 360 version. 69.115.77.66 (talk) 22:52, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

do characters and certain portable games need to be listed?[edit]

I do not think characters should be in the template. If someone wants to see who is going to be in the game, they are going to click on the link itself for the game.

Also, for portables games, do we really need to put the carabiner and cell phone games? These are not even full games. They do not play the whole song. Most only play clips of the songs, and the only action you can do is press buttons without any strumming action. If they need to be mentioned, shouldn't they be under some sort of miscellaneous category, or do they even need to be mentioned. I don't see a point of even putting something in the template when it just redirects to the guitar hero main page. I also think we should separate the DS games from the other portable games, since the DS games are full versions of songs. In my mind, placing the DS games with the cellphone and carabiner means they are the same type of game, but they are not. The cellphone versions and carabiner do not even come close. All the characters should be removed, that's not needed at all. As for the cellphone and carabiner games, they should be included just for purposes of completeness: if you, say, were searching for GH Carabiner but didn't get the last word right, you'd at least be one click from finding the right article. --MASEM 10:25, 24 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Deleted characters from list. Another point: At the rate of characters being included in these games, by Guitar Hero 5: Blah Blah Blah, there will be too many characters too logically put on the list. Just make a new page if you REALLY care. And I don't, so I won't. Also...Metallica and Aerosmith I really don't think should be in related, because you can just click on GH: Aerosmith or GH: Metallica anyway, so I'm toasting them. The rest can stay. The one and only:Zanny77 (talk) 22:13, 26 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hendrix & Modern Hits[edit]

I checked on google, I know they exist, but why should we have a link re-directing it to Guitar Hero, providing no absolute information about these 2 upcoming games? Can we at least remove the link and replace it with "working title", or providing more information on it on a new or existing page?--F-22 Raptor (talk) 05:03, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The redirect to Hendrix should be removed because it isn't a confirmed game, its just a possibly in development game that someone loosely related to the Guitar Hero franchise mentioned in an interview. I'm just going to remove it, seeing as it seems lacking in relevance to the article. Wolfemiester (talk) —Preceding undated comment was added at 05:27, 9 January 2009 (UTC).[reply]

I would've removed it myself, but someone else did, and another person reverted the edit and claiming vandalism. No problem anyways.--F-22 Raptor (talk) 21:20, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Reorg[edit]

Because of the sheer number of titles not in the "main series", I've split them into Band Centric (since we've got two and rumors of at least 2-3 more are out there), and "Spinoffs" which include the 80s, future Smash Hits (until they turn into their own series), and Band Hero. -- TRTX T / C 13:31, 7 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

V vs. 5[edit]

I propose either it goes Guitar Hero 2, 3, and 5, or II, III, and V

mixing them just looks weird. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.178.221.205 (talk) 01:10, 9 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The announcements use the digit 5. Likely this is a placehold for whatever they end up naming it, but we can't imply they will go to "V". --MASEM (t) 01:12, 9 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

DJ Hero[edit]

Should it be listed as being related (unless it spawns its own template eventually), or should it be a spinoff? ViperSnake151  Talk  13:55, 11 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
