Corporate Earnings information is wrong. McDonalds has a positive net income. Also citation references 2010 10-k when it should be referencing 2012 10-k. Please revise. Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.204.67.59 (talk) 03:08, 26 February 2013 (UTC)

Reasons for the creation of this info box[edit]

This information box was created for the purpose of including a single, uniform info box in the main McDonald's articles. This was done so that all of the articles would have an identical, uniform info box with out any conflicting information. The info box was not created to make my or other editors lives easier when editing the main articles.

The main articles, McDonald's, McDonald's products, McDonald's advertising and McDonald's legal cases and List of McDonald's trademarks can be described as one large article split into multiple, distinct parts, which is the truth as the secondary articles were split off of the main article when it grew too large. The McD's info box is on each of the McD's articles because of the splits, and each of those splits covers information summarized in the info box (company info such as history, products and slogans including advertising and trademarks).

Hi having trouble traking down stats on the amount of Mc donalds sold on average in australia daily. Any help? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.246.28.47 (talk) 22:44, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

{{Request edit}} McDonald's has 32,478 worldwide locations as of 2009, according to http://www.aboutmcdonalds.com/etc/medialib/aboutMcDonalds/investor_relations0.Par.17264.File.dat/2009%20AR%20Report%20-%20Print.pdf. Should replace the old number.

Done. Normally, we don't use information from a company's website or their own publications, because a person/company can say whatever they want to about themselves, but a company can't really lie to its shareholders or it would be liable, so I think the investor relations report is a good source. That being said, we don't want to keep running back every time a few more stores are added, but I think 31,000+ to 32,000+ is a justifiable edit. Anyway, that's all my opinion. Let me know on my talk page if you'd like more help or put a {{help me}} template on your own user talk page and someone else will be along to help you. :) Banaticus (talk) 10:06, 16 February 2011 (UTC)

Edit request on 22 December 2011[edit]

Hello,

I just noticed that our Corporate Website is not listed in the right-hand call-out box, but instead it's linking to our US-specific website. Can you please change the website url to: www.aboutmcdonalds.com. That is the company's official corporate website.

Please contact me for any questions.
