California Desert Rams hockey team[edit]

The Rams of the Southern California Junior Hockey League began in Cathedral City east of Palm Springs, later merged with a Riverside team. There used to be teams in High Desert (Adelanto), Lake Arrowhead and San Bernardino. Their opponents are Hollywood (Los Angeles), Irvine, Long Beach, North Hills (Los Angeles), Oxnard-Ventura, Pasadena-Arcadia, and West Covina. There's also the Ontario Avalanche of the Western States Hockey League, but it appears the team either folded or relocated, most likely out of business in 2017. Ontario's sports arena had an ABA team the Inland Empire Invaders (also they played in Riverside's Raincross Convention Center) but they relocated to Yuma, AZ. 67.49.89.214 (talk) 02:24, 12 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Developmental Football International (DFI)[edit]

The new football league has a team, the So Cal Coyotes based in Indio, California. They will move to a new sports arena in nearby Palm Desert, California that will open in the early 2020s.
