Davis[edit]

Am I mistaken, or is a corresponding move needed to make room for Chris Davis being added? I'm not looking to make any changes, I just want to know if I need to be on the lookout for another move.►Chris NelsonHolla! 01:43, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

No, the Jets went with 52 players last weekend. Clowney was released, Vilma went to the IR, and only Chatham was activated, leaving 52. Pats1 T/C 14:32, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
Ah yeah. Gotcha.►Chris NelsonHolla! 14:33, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

Eric Smith suspension[edit]

I do not believe Smith will be suspended until next Monday. Why would be be forced tow miss two weeks of practice, rather than one for a one-game suspension, simply because his team is on a bye this week? If the Jets played this upcoming weekend, he'd miss this week and the game. Since they have a bye, he'd miss TWO weeks of practice and the game two weeks from now. That doesn't make sense to me. It's a one-game suspension, and this week. Therefore I don't think he'll be suspended until next week.►Chris NelsonHolla! 01:17, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

Good point. Pats1 T/C 01:18, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
Alright cool. I just don't think it'd be fair to force a guy to miss two weeks of practice rather than one just because his team's on a bye.►Chris NelsonHolla! 01:21, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

Roster Lineup[edit]

Why is the roster always in alphabetic all year round even during the season when it should realy be in the starting position.--Mr. Unknown (talk) 20:05, 9 September 2009 (UTC)

It's not a depth chart, it's a roster. Going into the depth aspects make things too complicated.►Chris NelsonHolla! 20:06, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
(ec) Because that's the correct way to do it, the alphabetical order makes it easier to locate a player if you're looking for them.--Giants27 (c|s) 20:07, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
Yes, also that.►Chris NelsonHolla! 20:23, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
Define "starter." Pats1 T/C 20:39, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
I see all your points. And Pats1 starter would be 1st string, 2nd string, etc.--Mr. Unknown (talk) 01:24, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, and so who is the first string cornerback? Which one do you list first? Do you put safeties before corners? Pats1 T/C 01:56, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
