[edit] TfD debate

This template survived a debate at TfD. The discussion can be found here. -Splashtalk 02:10, 6 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] This template is obsolete...

...due to the change from VfD to AfD. The new template is at Oldafdfull. This page probably should have been moved, but for whatever the reason, it wasn't. Please direct further edits and comments to that page and its talk page, rather than this one. --Blackcap | talk 03:34, 8 November 2005 (UTC)

This template is not obsolete. It is used by many pages that still refer to VFD namespace. Dread Lord CyberSkull ✎☠ 12:29, 15 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Very Handy

I've made another template for those very odd circumstances: Here is an example:

Votes for deletion This article was nominated for deletion on 26 March 2008. The result of the discussion was inconclusive because the article was merged to Free World Trust v. Électro Santé Inc. under Wikipedia's guidelines of WP:BOLD and WP:MERGE.

[edit] Date linking

Why does this template provide clickable links to the date and year? Does it really matter if an article's AfD nomination happened on the same day as some sort of historical event? WhatamIdoing (talk) 00:33, 11 September 2009 (UTC)
