We may need to revert some of the recent changes made. This is a global template and should not be U.S. centric. Indirect and direct taxes mean different things depending on where you are, which is discussed in those articles. FairTax is a U.S. bill. We have a U.S. template and such things could be expressed there. I also think it is now too long (it was already pretty long for a template). Keep in mind that many articles have pictures and other formating. Some are just stub articles and it looks really odd when you have such a large template. We have to consider the weight involved - is race to the bottom such a significant topic in public finance that it deserves to be on the template of every public finance article. I don't think so. Perhaps some of these things can be collapsed into a show/hide menu. Morphh(talk)20:22, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
