- I wasn't sure what to think when someone first changed it to purple, but I'm beginning to see their point: 1.) the red used in the RSL jerseys is pretty purplish, as reds go, 2.) every damn MLS team seems to use red, 3.) the purple template looks more distinctive while still looking oddly appropriate (red + blue, after all), 4.) there's the association with Real Madrid, 5.) the team uses purple for a few purposes, and there's been talk of bringing out a RM-style purple third. I'm not wedded to the purple, but I like it. Bill Oaf 04:22, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
