Quick update query[edit]

@DePiep: Can that "As of" on this template be removed now or should it be updated? Thanks! — Scott talk 20:01, 4 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have no knowledge of current status (i.e., which are Lua-fied). I'll remove the note, being less relevat now. The Lua-actions are gone. -DePiep (talk) 23:21, 10 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Fixing descriptions[edit]

The descriptions for the templates are awkward, and in some cases, confusing or even completely opaque, with the template name itself giving more information than the description does. Or did; I've fixed the ones in the "trim" section, they are now all straightforward, and should be comprehensible to anyone within the constraints of a brief description.

Descriptions in some of the remaining sections might benefit from the same kind of treatment. Part of the problem arises from unclear use of the verb trim, which appears as "trim down", "trim down to", "trim up to" (and previously "trim from" before it was changed). The descriptions for templates "trim brackets" and "trim quotes" use the verb properly and clearly; the others, less so, to varying degrees. Mathglot (talk) 03:44, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
