Infraspecies is not a rank, it's a group of ranks. Please remove it from this template, thanks. KP Botany 23:19, 30 June 2007 (UTC)

There may be more than one rank below Subspecies in botany, but not in zoology. (Unless an individual counts as a taxon, that is.) The Mysterious El Willstro (talk) 06:31, 29 July 2010 (UTC)

Isn't "Legion" a higher rank than "Cohort"? 84.194.239.24 19:09, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

It can be. I think Cohort can be orders or families, and Legion is strictly a group of orders. Would someone change this as necessary, also, they're internally wikilinked to this page, that should be changed. Thanks for the note, someone will look into it. KP Botany 19:23, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

This really needs to be cleaned up. ONEder Boy (talk) 16:16, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

Can someone please create Legion (biology) and Alliance (biology)? Thank you. 61x62x61 (talk) 22:05, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

oops... i meant Cohort (biology) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 61x62x61 (talkcontribs) 19:04, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

Subkingdom and Infrakingdom[edit]

Subkingdom and Infrakingdom both link back to the Kingdom article, which doesn't mention either. 129.120.60.81 (talk) 01:34, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

Alliance[edit]

I've removed Alliance from the template because it doesn't seem to be a rank in any of the codes. In the botanical code it is mentioned (article 17) as an old-fashioned term to be interpreted as meaning "order" if that is clearly what was intended. Nadiatalent (talk) 01:56, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
