Merged Gap Broadcasting [edit]
Now that Gap Broadcasting has been acquired by Townsquare Media, I've merged in every broadcast station that is owned by a licensee starteding with "Gap Broad..." in the FCC database. I found the following glitches when I compared the old Gap templates:
Added Gap stations that didn't appear in any templates:
- 970 KBUL (AM) Billings, Montana (#16772)
- 102.9 KCTR-FM Billings, Montana (#16773)
- 97.1 KKBR Billings, Montana (#16774)
- 1240 KLYQ Hamilton, Montana (#4699)
- 99.3 KQMY Naches, Washington (#88006)
- 640 KTIB Thibodaux, Louisiana (#36183)
- 101.5 KVWE Frenchtown, Montana (#166027) (former KXGZ)
Added Regent station that didn't appear in any templates:
- 1390 KXSS (AM) Waite Park, Minnesota (#60493)
Stations that changed callsigns:
- 95.5 KCHH Worden, Montana (#1315) was KMHK
Station names misidentified by pipe trick in Gap templates:
- "KEZJ" really KEZJ-FM, not KEZJ (AM) (owned by the College of Southern Idaho)
- "KORD" really KORD-FM
- "KTRS" really KTRS-FM, not KTRS (AM) (in St. Louis with a different owner)
- "KYSS" really KYSS-FM
- "KZIN" really KZIN-FM
I also added (AM) visibly on callsigns for which is there is also an FM/TV, because it makes explicit that the person may be looking at the wrong link. (For example, KXSS (AM) appears in Minnesota, but KXSS-FM appears in Texas. Someone overlooked KXSS (AM) as a Regent station before.) --Closeapple (talk) 22:49, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
