Celtic F.C. task force

I would like to add the Celtic task force to this template. Using this image [1]. Thank you. Adam4267 (talk) 22:49, 16 July 2011 (UTC)

You should provide the specific code you want adding to the template, following the example given by the guy who wanted to add the D.C. United TF. – PeeJay 22:55, 16 July 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for that PeeJay, here is the source code;
|tf 10=
 |TF_10_LINK            = Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Celtic F.C. task force
 |TF_10_NAME            = the Celtic F.C. task force
 |TF_10_IMAGE           = Celtic front door.jpg
 |TF_10_SIZE            = 40x40px
 |TF_10_QUALITY         = yes
 |tf 10 importance      =
 |TF_10_ASSESSMENT_CAT  = Celtic F.C. articles
 |TF_10_MAIN_CAT        = Celtic F.C. task force articles

and it is also at the sandbox. Adam4267 (talk) 23:10, 16 July 2011 (UTC)

Scotland task force

I'd like to add the Scotland task force to this template. See source code on sandbox Template:WikiProject Football/sandbox for update. Thanks Warburton1368 (talk) 21:25, 24 July 2011 (UTC)

To the admin who sees this - The update Warburton1368 has asked for will also include some updates I have made to the template in order to add assessment capabilities for the task forces that were previously missing them. I have also neatened up the template to make it easier to see what each bit of it does. – PeeJay 12:57, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

WikiProject conversions

I've converted the Real Madrid, Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday WikiProjects to task forces and added their assessment parameters to the sandbox version of this template. If an admin could update the template, that'd be super. – PeeJay 00:30, 7 August 2011 (UTC)

Done. Ucucha (talk) 18:28, 7 August 2011 (UTC)

Would you mind updating the template again to include the Australian and Irish task forces. I have already made the necessary adjustments to the sandbox page, so it's just a copy-and-paste job. – PeeJay 15:04, 24 August 2011 (UTC)

Yes check.svg Done -- WOSlinker (talk) 20:01, 28 August 2011 (UTC)

Final request

The final task force conversions have now taken place, so I require an admin to please update the main template with the code from the sandbox. Thanks. – PeeJay 10:44, 4 September 2011 (UTC)

Women's task force

I'd like to change the picture on the women's task force articles from the current Symbol venus.svg to the more specific Football féminin icon-fr.svg. If no one has any objections, this requires the code to be amended from:

|tf 4=
 |TF_4_LINK           = Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Women's football task force
 |TF_4_NAME           = the women's task force
 |TF_4_IMAGE          = Symbol venus.svg
 |TF_4_SIZE           = 30x30px
 |TF_4_QUALITY        = yes
 |tf 4 importance     =
 |TF_4_ASSESSMENT_CAT = Women's football articles
 |TF_4_MAIN_CAT       = Women's football task force articles

|tf 4=
 |TF_4_LINK           = Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Women's football task force
 |TF_4_NAME           = the women's task force
 |TF_4_IMAGE          = Football féminin icon-fr.svg
 |TF_4_SIZE           = 30x30px
 |TF_4_QUALITY        = yes
 |tf 4 importance     =
 |TF_4_ASSESSMENT_CAT = Women's football articles
 |TF_4_MAIN_CAT       = Women's football task force articles

This change should clarify that the task force is for women's football/soccer, rather than a task force for women in general. I think this is better than adding the word football to the NAME field, as doing so may confuse or irritate our American and Canadian contributors. Clavdia chauchat (talk) 10:42, 6 September 2011 (UTC)

I think the fact that it's on the WikiProject Football banner should be sufficient indication that the task force refers to women's football, but I do like the image, so I support this change. – PeeJay 10:49, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
Okay, Yes check.svg Done — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 21:17, 9 September 2011 (UTC)

Ireland task force assessment

I have just created the categories to allow Irish football articles to be assessed by this template. I have also updated the code in the sandbox, so if an admin could update the template to reflect those changes, that would be very useful. – PeeJay 13:58, 9 September 2011 (UTC)

Crystal Clear action edit add.png Added, just one category missing - see Template:WikiProject Football/class. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 21:22, 9 September 2011 (UTC)

Non-leage football assessment

The non-league football taskforce code needs to be updated to reflect that it can now be assessed.

|tf 3=
 |TF_3_LINK            = Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/English non-league task force
 |TF_3_NAME            = the English non-league task force
 |TF_3_IMAGE           = Football pictogram.svg
 |TF_3_SIZE            = 30x30px
 |TF_3_QUALITY         = yes
 |TF_3_IMPORTANCE      =
 |tf 3 importance={{#ifeq:{{lc:{{{Non-league|{{{non-league|}}}}}}}}|yes|{{{importance|}}|{{{Non-league|{{{non-league|}}}}}}}}
 |TF_3_ASSESSMENT_CAT = English non-league football articles
 |TF_3_MAIN_CAT = English non-league football task force articles

Thanks. Delsion23 (talk) 12:09, 18 October 2011 (UTC)

Yes check.svg Done. Although it is numbered 1 not 3! One category needs creating. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 13:09, 19 October 2011 (UTC)

You can use {{cat importance}} and {{cat class}}, (example). — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 13:11, 19 October 2011 (UTC)

Cheers Martin, thanks very much for the quick response! I've created the missing category. Will start trying to make a table for it now. Delsion23 (talk) 13:55, 19 October 2011 (UTC)

National Team Task Force

Could you add my task force, National Team Task Force?

|tf 1={{{National |{{{National|}}}}}}
 |TF_1_LINK            = Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/National teams task force
 |TF_1_NAME = the National teams task force
 |TF_1_IMAGE           = Flag of the United Nations.svg
 |TF_1_SIZE            = 40x40px
 |TF_1_QUALITY        = yes
 |tf 1 importance     = {{#ifeq:{{lc:{{{National|{{{National|}}}}}}}}|yes||{{{National|{{{National|}}}}}}}}
 |TF_1_ASSESSMENT_CAT = National football team articles
 |TF_1_MAIN_CAT = WikiProject Football national teams articles

There is what the code looks like. (From the Sandbox) Thanks in advance, Bar Code Symmetry (Talk) 17:13, 19 October 2011 (UTC)

Not done for now: The first line implies that the trigger for this would be |National Teams= or |national= however the seventh line suggests that the trigger for this would be |National= or |national=. Which is intended?
BTW please use the {{editprotected}} template to formally request an edit. --Redrose64 (talk) 18:37, 19 October 2011 (UTC)
I meant |National=. Can it be done now? Is it too late to add the editprotected template? Bar Code Symmetry (Talk) 19:55, 19 October 2011 (UTC)
No, it's never too late to add an {{editprotected}}; the main purpose of that template is to draw the attention of an admin, because it will put this page into Category:Wikipedia protected edit requests. That way you're not relying on somebody having this on their watchlist, or (as in my case) noticing the thread at Wikipedia:Help desk#Talk Page tagging. I may be off to bed soon.
I do have another question: following your 19:55 modification to the above, I see that |National= is now in twice each time, so effectively one is redundant. It could be set up either as
|tf 1={{{National|}}}
 |tf 1 importance     = {{#ifeq:{{lc:{{{National|}}}}}|yes||{{{National|}}}}}
which is a simpler way of having it so that only the first-letter-capitalised form will be recognised, or as
|tf 1={{{National|{{{national|}}}}}}
 |tf 1 importance     = {{#ifeq:{{lc:{{{National|{{{national|}}}}}}}}|yes||{{{National|{{{national|}}}}}}}}
which will permit either capitalisation. Which one is the intention? --Redrose64 (talk) 20:43, 19 October 2011 (UTC)
Well, if it is simpler then by all means do it! BTW congrats on adminship. I read the RfA page current nominations section, sometimes. Bar Code Symmetry (Talk) 22:19, 19 October 2011 (UTC)
Done, see here. --Redrose64 (talk) 22:56, 19 October 2011 (UTC)

Women's football task force

Hi, one of the last edits has mangled the template so that the icon for women's football is appearing on the football variants template. The women's football template is now missing its icon. Please restore, thanks. Clavdia chauchat (talk) 19:16, 20 October 2011 (UTC)

Done Well spotted, fixed. --Redrose64 (talk) 20:18, 20 October 2011 (UTC)

English non-league task force

Hey, could someone please replace the stick figure pictogram (Football pictogram.svg) with the new logo of the non-league task force, found here (Non-league football taskforce logo.svg)? Thanks. Delsion23 (talk) 20:44, 6 August 2012 (UTC)

Done. GiantSnowman 08:14, 7 August 2012 (UTC)

Add some portals

I added some portals to the applicable task forces in the sandbox. Please implement. Kumioko (talk) 00:06, 12 October 2012 (UTC)

Done, but after I made this fix. --Redrose64 (talk) 16:50, 12 October 2012 (UTC)

India task force

Can someone add the India task force to the template as I now think we can asses the Indian football articles.

|tf 8={{{India|{{{India|}}}}}}
  |TF_8_LINK           = Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/India task force
  |TF_8_NAME = the India football task force
  |TF_8_IMAGE          = Flag of India.svg
  |TF_8_SIZE           = 40x40px
  |TF_8_QUALITY        = yes
  |tf 8 importance     = {{#ifeq:{{lc:{{{India|{{{india|}}}}}}}}|yes||{{{India|{{{india|}}}}}}}}
  |TF_8_ASSESSMENT_CAT = football in India articles
  |TF_8_MAIN_CAT = Football in India task force articles

The sandbox example is right here... Template:WikiProject Football/sandbox and the example that the template works is right here... Talk:Pradeep Mohanraj.

Thank you. --Arsenalkid700 (talk) 23:02, 10 November 2012 (UTC)

Done I've tweaked the code a little bit too. I used |tf 8={{{India|{{{india|}}}}}}, which I thought must have been your intention. I also used "the Indian football task force" rather than "the India football task force" to bring the name in line with the other task forces. If I messed anything up, leave my a message on my user talk page and I can fix it for you. Best — Mr. Stradivarius (have a chat) 10:05, 12 November 2012 (UTC)
