[edit] Image

I've removed it temporarily as it's not scaling correctly. By all means restore it or a replacement if you can get it to look right. (Note: I confirmed with another editor first, and it was garbled in their browser too). --kingboyk 20:19, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

yeah, i don't know why it's doing that.. i'll take a closer look. ITAQALLAH 22:11, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
i uploaded a scaled down version of the image... does that fix it for you? ITAQALLAH 22:36, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
Yes, that's a million times better, cheers! --kingboyk 23:09, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Shia task force

The Graphics Lab has created this image Image:Ismaili flag.svg which is clearer and scalable. Someone with access into editing this page should change the flag. Chris (クリス • フィッチ) (talk) 06:03, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Done. Gimmetrow 06:18, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
Thanks! Chris (クリス • フィッチ) (talk) 07:52, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

There is a Mosques task force which should be incorporated into this template. I'm not an admin. so I request that an admin. insert the following

{{#ifeq: {{{Mosques|}}}|yes|/ [[Wikipedia:WikiProject Islam/Mosques task force|Mosques]] }}

near the start of the template (and any other similar changes in the template). TIA. MP (talkcontribs) 18:29, 13 December 2008 (UTC)

Please put your changes in a sandbox. Cheers. --MZMcBride (talk) 06:23, 17 December 2008 (UTC)

[edit] WPBannerMeta

A version of this banner using {{WPBannerMeta}} is in the template:WikiProject Islam/sandbox. What do people think about converting to it? (also)Happymelon 09:15, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Missing image file

The file Panjetan.jpg associated in this template with the Shi'a Islam task force has been deleted from Commons on 27 April 2009 and again on 20 March 2010, and needs to be replaced.

I know these requests are supposed to be complete and specific, but I honestly don't feel qualified to request replacement with a specific image. Some possibilities I found, however, would include:

Mirror writing2.jpg
Fatimacalligraphy.jpg
Dhulfiqar.svg
Ismaili flag.svg
IslamSymbolAllahComp.PNG
MohrQum1.jpeg

{Note: If Mirror writing2.jpg appears as dark-on-light turquoise, it may be some error I made in setting up this gallery. It's a Featured Image on en:wikipedia, and can be seen correctly at full size on it's own page.) Fat&Happy (talk) 02:26, 21 January 2012 (UTC)

If Mirror writing2.jpg appears as dark-on-light turquoise, it may mean you should get a better web browser; that only seems to happen in firefox. (I don't think it's because of anything you did, either. And that's my unhelpful comment for the day.) -— Isarra (talk) 06:03, 21 January 2012 (UTC)
Interesting. You're right (I suppose you already knew that...), it works fine in IE8, Opera, and Chrome. Really odd that FireFox seems to have a problem with only that one image (and it started out being fine at sizes above 50px, then went screwy across the board.) Oh well. Thanks though. Fat&Happy (talk) 17:07, 21 January 2012 (UTC)
ETA: Just checked FF help; it's a known issue (the fault of my computer settings or the image itself, of course; forget that all other browsers render correctly), and a simple tweak to about:config seems to correct it. Now to find out what other changes that tweaked setting causes. Thanks for the pointer; unless I happened to be using another browser some time and stumbled across it, I would have never realized it was a browser-specific issue.
