Temptress (born on the April 18, 1977 in Placerville, California, United States) is a pornographic actress. She originally spelled her professional name "Temptriss", but it was so frequently misspelled that she settled for Temptress.
Temptress moved to Arizona where she danced at a local strip club. Not long after, she moved to Los Angeles where she worked at the Body Shop. Curious about the adult entertainment industry, she tried her first XXX scene and loved it. This early video work caught the eye of Wicked Pictures President and owner Steve Orenstein, who then signed her to an exclusive contract.[1] Since then, Temptress has appeared in many pictures for the company, including Eros, Wicked Temptress, Spellbound, Working Girl and It Had To Be You, and the DVD version of Dreamquest.
Temptress has a circular tattoo on point of her right hip and a tattoo on her left shoulder blade. She has a pierced tongue. Temptress is often seen with completely depilated pubic hair in her movies and photoshoots.[2]
Her advice to new girls entering the adult entertainment industry is to educate themselves and go into it with a good head on their shoulders.[3]
In 2001 she was interviewed over lunch by the author Martin Amis, who describes it as "a relatively sedate affair."[1] According to Amis she was inhibited by the presence of Orenstein at the interview.[1] Temptress refuses to do anal sex on film. "They keep trying to coax me into it. You know: 'Just a finger or a tongue. Or just a little bit: just the tip.' But I won't, I used not to do facials. But I do them now."[1] In the interview she also revealed a trick which is used when male actors are unable to ejaculate; "You get some pina colada mix. The cock's in your mouth and you let it, like, ooze out around it."[1] She also said "I don't have relationships any more. They make life unstable. The only sex I have is the sex on screen."[1]
