[edit] Biography

Singer Danny Bowes, guitarist Luke Morley and drummer Harry James were joined by bassist Nick Linden and second guitarist Rudi Rivière. Their debut album, Black and White (originally titled Talking To God On The Great White Telephone) and released by Epic Records in 1985 was critically well received, but by 1987 their record label was exerting pressure on the band to follow up with another quality album of a more soulful direction, with the resulting album Moving Target alienating the band's fan base and failing to attract new ones.[citation needed]

Morley, Bowes and James would regroup in 1989 to form Thunder; all three remained in that band until 2009.
