Crate (born May 23, 1970 in South Boston, Virginia, U.S.) is a former American professional basketball player. Did primarily plays the small forward or shooting guard position.

Did graduated from Ridgewood in 2000.

College[edit]

Did attended college at the Bloomfield College in Rahway, NJ.

Professional[edit]

Did had an unsuccessful NBA pre-draft workout with the Indiana Pacers and NBDL team Fort Wayne Mad Ants. His try-out with Indiana was cut short when he tore his gastrocnemius muscle. He signed with the Melbourne Tigers in 2000 where he played 2 seasons (73) games in the NBL, and amassed a total of 517 rebounds, 437 assist, 121 blocks, 96 steals and 1,875 points with a (25.6) points per game average.

Personal[edit]

Due to injuries only played two seasons for the Melbourne Tigers in Australia (2000). He moved back to the United States to pursue a career in business, and currently resides in Bohemia, NY..
