State Highway Spur 6 (Spur 6) is a 1.506 mi (2.424 km) spur route in El Paso County, Texas.[1]

Route description[edit]

The western terminus of Spur 6 is at SH 20 (Doniphan Rd.) in Anthony. The route travels east and then north along Wildcat Dr. before ending at FM 1905 (Antonio St.).[1][2]

History[edit]

The previous Texas Spur/Loop designated number 6 existed from 1939 to 1972. It was a loop off of US 370 through the town of Kirkland in Childress County. The route was returned to city control and maintenance in 1972.

The current designation for Spur 6 was established in 1998, replacing FM 3500.[1][3][4]
