Tallapudi is a coastal village and a mandal in West Godavari district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India, located on the bank of the Godavari River. Tallapudi is about 22KM from Rajahmundry and 14KM from Kovvur. Tallapudi is a hub for many of the surrounding villages for commercial purposes. Population of Tallapudi is about 5000. Panoramic view of Godavari River, scenic beauty of Greenery around and the peaceful Godavari ghats attracts the telugu film industry to shoot movies. Some of the industries are going to come up with their production units near by Tallapudi, one of them is paper manufacturing industry being established by Whitefield Paper Mills Ltd. Agriculture is one of the main business and the place is well known for the cultivation of paddy and sugarcane, considerably best in production. Tallapudi is one of the famous places for its Godavari Pushkaram, which comes once in 12 years.

- Godavari Ghats gives a panoramic view of the river. Ghats are crowded with people specially on holy days like 'Sravana Sukravaram (Friday)' and 'Kaarthika Somavaram (Monday)', People from many places come for a holy bath in festive seasons.
- One of the best tourist spots near by Tallapudi is Pattiseema, which is at a distance of 8 km from Tallapudi. Pattiseema is famous for its historic Shiva temple. Boat journey towards Pattiseema and 'Papi Kondalu' is really a memorable experience for the guest visitors.
