The Basement Recordings III is a demo release by Canadian singer-songwriter Alexz Johnson and her brother, Brendan Johnson. It is the sequel to the demo album released in 2012, entitled The Basement Recordings II and the third overall installment to The Basement Recordings album series.

Development[edit]

The Basement Recordings III consists of demo material recorded by Johnson that has not made its way to a release. The album was announced on 14 January 2013 by Brendan Johnson via Twitter,[1] while Alexz confirmed the release the following day.[2] The album was released digitally on 20 February 2013.[3]
