The Bigger Picture Ltd is a media production company based in Malta that handles the production of TV Commercials and Films. It has produced over 70 TV commercials and 9 short films for both the Maltese and International markets and is equipped with a Mysterium-X Red One Digital Cinema Camera which shoots up to 120fps and captures RAW images 4 times the size of full High Definition. In January 2012, it joined the Stargate Studios Network, an international production company that provides “turn key” solutions for film and television productions and visual effects worldwide.

The Bigger Picture was founded in December 2009 by Matthew Pullicino (Managing Director) and David Serge (Director of Photography and Director of Operations).

The company's team has grown over the years, and by 2013, consisted of Frank Zammit (Production Manager); Justin Camilleri (Head of Post Production); Adam Lawrence (Head of VFX) and Francis Ghersci (Head of Creative).

Awards[edit]

The Bigger Picture has won 18 awards at Maltese festivals and international films festivals.

.303 short film[edit]

The short film .303 has won the awards for Best Overall Production, Best Cinematography and the Local Jury Award at the Malta International TV Short Film Festival. It also made the Official Selection at the Palm Springs International Short Fest of California as well as the Bodega Bay International Film Festival.
