"The Family Ghost" is a single by the heavy metal band King Diamond. This single is taken from the album Abigail and contains the track Shrine, not released on the original release of the album. It was later included on the re-issue. The song is famous for its guitar riff. The music video was featured in an episode of Beavis and Butt-Head, but was harshly criticized by the titular characters, calling it "the worst crap I've ever seen in my life" and "horrible". In it Diamond was compared to Count von Count on Sesame Street.
