The Fisticuffs are a south Chicago suburbs-based Irish folk rock band. Formed in 2005, the band currently consists of Bobby Baldwin (vocals, acoustic guitar), Dave Beneventi (mandolin), Neal Farrell (bass), Tony Dellorto (drums), Arcadia Kust (fiddle), and Sean "Flapjacks" Moriarty (electric guitar).

The band formed in 2005, and released their debut album, "Bruised but Not Beaten," on March 17, 2006. The second album, Neatly Stumblin' was released in March 2008. You’ll Not Take Us Alive, the band’s third full-length release was released on February 1st, 2011. The band went out on a CD release tour in March 2011.

In spring 2006, Jake Oostema and Ian Sutherland left the band on good terms. Sutherland left to pursue his other band, The Glowing Magnets. Sean Moriarty joined in Fall 2006 to take over his guitar duties. In December 2006, Ian Tully also left the band on good terms. In September 2009 Brandon Simmons left the band on good terms and was replaced by Neal Farrell.

The Fisticuffs are currently playing shows in and outside the Chicago area. They are always writing new material.
