The Land Of A Thousand Faces was a live stage show created for Universal Studios Tour in 1975 by Verne Langdon with Jay Stein and Terry Winnick
The twenty minute show was performed eight times per day in front of 1500 tour visitors per show, and featured a host and two makeup artists. They would first present an elaborate audio-visual history of movie makeup magic, then transform two chosen tour visitors into Frankenstein's Monster and The Bride of Frankenstein in just fifteen minutes. The last five minutes of the show was a dramatic "creation" presentation featuring the two tourists-turned-monsters. The very successful show ran five years.
It inspired the Universal's Horror Make-Up Show attraction at sister park Universal Studios Florida.
