This music video was directed by Marc Webb, and was filmed at an old warehouse in Los Angeles in May 2003. The video begins with a short clip of Jade playing the opening notes to the song. Once the drums and a louder guitar kick in, the members of the band are shown preparing for a show. As the chorus begins, we see the show, as well as a violent crowd moshing to the music, executing "hardcore dance" style punch-and-kick moves. Some clips show crowd members preparing for the show, applying athletic tape and straightedge-culture X's to their hands. For the remainder of the song, we see alternating shots of the band members and the crowd until the song ends and Davey drops the mic. The band walks off the stage and the video ends.

- Oddly, in the track listing for Sing the Sorrow, The Leaving Song Pt. II comes before The Leaving Song. Many people believe this is because the album actually begins with Bleed Black, the track after The Leaving Song Pt. II [citation needed]. This would place The Leaving Song and The Leaving Song, Pt. 2 in the correct order.
