The Monster of Frankenstein (Italian:Il mostro di Frankenstein) is a 1920 Italian silent horror film directed by Eugenio Testa and starring Luciano Albertini, Aldo Mezzanotte and Umberto Guarracino. It is an adaptation of Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein. It was one of the few horror films made in Italy before the mid-1950s. The film's running time was heavily cut down before its release, as it faced censorship issues.
