The Night and Day Café is a cafe bar and live music venue in Manchester, England.

It is located in the cities Northern Quarter on Oldham Street, opposite Piccadilly Records and between Magma Design Bookstore / Vinyl Exchange and Café Pop/ Dry Bar. It is near to the Afflecks palace shopping arcade and a few minutes walk from the Market Street / Arndale Centre shopping areas.[1]

Opening in 1991 as a fish and chip shop, The Night and Day Cafe now hosts live gigs most nights of the week.[2]

The venue was mentioned in the TV show Lost in the season three episode "Greatest Hits" as the place where Charlie's band DriveSHAFT played their first gig.[3]
