[edit] Synopsis
The series follows Brandon and Brody Jenner, the adult sons of Olympic champion Bruce Jenner and former Miss Tennessee USA Linda Thompson, and their friend, Spencer Pratt, as they got themselves into various hijinks. On permanent vacation, the brothers lived with Linda and her husband, David Foster, in Foster's 22-acre (89,000 m2) Malibu, California estate. Linda thought that the boys could do no wrong, while Foster wanted the "freeloaders" to get jobs.
[edit] Cancellation
The future of the series was thrown into doubt in late July 2005 when Thompson filed for divorce.[1][2] Fox cancelled the series after airing only two of the six episodes produced. The remaining episodes were aired on Fox Reality.
It has since been featured on Channel V Australia, Living2, and MuchMoreMusic. The Princes of Malibu: The Complete Series was released on DVD in July 2008.[3]
[edit] Post-Princes
Jenner and Pratt became regulars on MTV's The Hills. In early 2009, Jenner starred in his own reality show, Bromance. Brody and Brandon Jenner occasionally appear on their father's reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
