The Prisoner of Peladon is a Big Finish Productions audiobook based on the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who. In it, David Troughton reprises his role as King Peladon.

The Companion Chronicles "talking books" are each narrated by one of the Doctor's companions and feature a second, guest-star voice along with music and sound effects.

Plot[edit]

The Third Doctor returns to Peladon, and his old friend, the King.

  • King Peladon first appeared in the 1972 TV story The Curse of Peladon with the Third Doctor. After both of the these stories, the Third Doctor returns and meets the King's grown daughter, Thalira, in the 1974 TV story The Monster of Peladon.
