[edit] Album Cover
The album cover is a modification of the Fabian Window, designed by George Bernard Shaw and created by artist Caroline Townshend in 1910. It depicts founding members of the Fabian Society reforming the earth into a new world and (representing the general public) worshiping the theories of Socialism.
[edit] Mastering
The liner notes contain a disclaimer that the band actively refused to particpate in the Loudness War: "In order to preserve the dynamic range of the music, this recording was not compressed, brickwalled, clipped, or sabotaged in any other way during mastering. This runs contrary to popular modern 'loudness' maximization techniques; consequently, you will have to turn the volume up."
