The Remixes is the first compilation album released by Colombian-born musician Shakira.[2] The album contains extended versions and remixes of her previous singles. The album also includes additional versions in Portuguese.[3] The album is one of the best selling remix albums worldwide, and is currently the best-selling latin remix album in the world. The RIAA has certified the album 2x Disco de Platino for shipments of 200,000 in the United States. The album has sold a total of one million copies worldwide.[4]
