First published in 1969, The Spartana is a bi-weekly high school newspaper out of Fort Wayne, Indiana. The publication is nationally recognized for its innovative and creative excellence.[citation needed]

Distributed biweekly, every Friday, the newspaper consists of eight pages including News, Opinion, Life and Sports sections. A biweekly fine arts supplement is published alongside The Spartana.
